Symposium.HirokiNishino ![]() Hiroki Nishino (b.1973) is currently a Ph.D student and a reasearch assistant at DXArts. Born in suburban area of Tokyo/Japan, like all the other kids of the time, he was obssesed with 8-bit computers in his childhood. After another obsession with rock music, he began to study Gagaku (Japanese traditional court music), as a player of Ryuteki flute with Ms. Naoko MIYAMARU and Master Sukeyasu SHIBA. While working as a software engineer in Tokyo, he also received an MA in Media and Governance at Keio Univ for computer music. After comsuming himself in RF-ID related projects in a small venture company, his interest in such emerging new medias lead him to seek for possiblities of artistic/creative uses of them. |
