Pantaleón (Juan Sebastian Lach, 2005)

For custom drumset and two computers. Written and dedicated to The Electronic Hammer.

In this piece I break down and transform elements of Dub music and distribute them among the musicians. The percussion plays the central role and is accompanied and processed in real-time by the computers, one of which generates accompaniment material algorithmically and the other which transforms its sounds in a dub-like manner.
