How to get to STEIM:
From DCR you can:
1. go out turn right and walk down the Constant Rebecquestraat to the tram rails.
Take tram 3 to Den Haag, Centraal Station.
From there take a train to Amsterdam (departure is every 28 and 58 past the hour).
The train takes about 50 minutes.
2. go out turn left and walk up the Constant Rebecquestraat to the tram rails.
Take tram 11 to Den Haag, HS Station (Hollands Spoor).
From there take a train to Amsterdam.
The train takes about 50 minutes.
From Amsterdam Central Station you can:
1. Either take a taxi to Achtergracht 19 (ca € 10)
2. Or take tram 4 (which you will find in front of the main exit, € 1,60). Disembark at the stop Frederiksplein. Walk back, turn right just before entering Utrechtsestraat (still called Frederiksplein - note: you will also pass Fredericksplein number 19 - this is NOT STEIM); after a while the name changes to Achtergracht.

In total you should calculate about 2 hours to get from DCR to STEIM.
A tip to save money:
Find a dutch resident who has a train reduction card (voordeeluurenkaart). He can take up to 3 persons for 40% discount with him.
